GRIVEN CASE STUDY: HEYDAR ALIYEV SPORTS AND EXHIBITION COMPLEX
August 19, 2015
The 2015 European Games, also known as Baku 2015, was the inaugural edition of the European games – an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees of Europe.
In preparation for Baku 2015 the Heydar Aliyev Complex got a makeover! A decorative crown made out of thousands of GRIVEN lights were installed. Custom metal brackets have been specifically engineered in order to fix to the metal structure of the arena.
Over 1300 units of GRIVEN Graph-i-Cell in RGB colour configuration were used for this project! The Graph-i-Cell RGB is a single pixel fixture that can be easily assembled with other unites of its kind to screen low resolution video files and graphic patterns.
With the new renovation, the Heydar Aliyev Complex showcased its sparkling crown to the world and has been a highlight for millions of sport fans!
